Happy Sunday, everyone! I am taking this Sunday to unwind after a long couple of weeks, what are you up to today?
I recently went shopping for some makeup staples, brushes, foundation, concealer and bronzer — things I don’t refill a lot, but it was definitely time! So often, I get caught up in getting new eye pencils or lip colors that I forget I sometimes need to stock up on the necessities, the every day make up! Let’s get started.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer: When I was looking last week for a new bronzer, I popped over to a couple sites for good drugstore bronzers (college budget) and found a lot of places recommended the Butter Bronzer. I decided to give it a go, and it’s amazing! I am officially on the Butter Bronzer band wagon. It is really smooth, not too dark for me and it smells amazing…it reminds me of summertime! Check it out here.
I also heard that the Maybelline FitMe Foundation was a good one so I wanted to try it out as well. It is a little thin for me, I usually like a pastier foundation, and this is more on the liquid side, but even still, it has great coverage! I found my perfect match color wise and I definitely am happy I have this for as long as it lasts. See it here!
e.l.f Highlighter and Concealer: I was looking for a cheap concealer since I really only use it under the eyes and for extra coverage on blemishes so naturally, I popped over to the e.l.f. section. Unfortunately, I did not get a good color for my skin, but it’s not terrible. Mixed with my new foundation, it is bearable and the quality is just so-so! Get this concealer here.
e.l.f. Powder Brush: Two words, love it! I swoosh it around my new bronzer and swipe it across my face and I have overall coverage instantly with this big brush. Link to it here!
Ciate Wonderwand Mascara: I got this mascara in my October Ipsy bag and I am completely in love. It is a really light weight mascara, so it does not clump at all. Though it takes a more than normal amount of passovers on my lashes, once it’s all on, it is to die for. Literally, no clumps. Get it here!
Caviar Anti-Frizz Oil: So as I’ve mentioned in past posts, I usually like to stay away from anything that says ‘oil’ when it comes to my hair, however, I was having some serious frizz the other day so I decided to be brave and give this a try, and no complaints! It did not make my hair oily at all and helped with my frizz situation. Definitely am going to use it again! Sephora sells it here!
